We've recruited several new members within this year; Emmeline, Kadijah, Aulora, Alissa, Amy, Mike and Chris. Interestingly enough, all four girls joined the mechanical subteam. This proves our point that “botz and not just for boyz”. The mechanical team now has eight females plus three female mentors and only six males, three students and three mentors.

We’ve finished the robot earlier than any previous year and most other teams in only four weeks. We have named him Mac N. Cheese because of his interesting look!

FIRST robotics rules require the robot to be 120 pounds or under. To do this we’ve drilled holes into him and he’s been given a nickname; Mac N. “Swiss” Cheese.

The programming team is finishing up and will be mounting the final parts tosday.
